Evelyn M’s artwork is a world of colour, rhythm and harmony influenced by her Interior Design work; Evelyn is as concerned about the overall layout of the canvas as she is about subject matter. Much like a sculpture will look at a stone and wait for the image to come forth, Evelyn will start with a canvas shape and study it until the subject shape or pose starts to take form in her mind. With the drawing in place and the background colours applied then and only then will Evelyn start to experiment with colour.
